The core features of the App (video capture, preview, screenshots, recording, and GIF creation) are performed entirely on your local device. No video, audio, or image data is uploaded to any server. The information we may collect includes:

• Device Information: When you voluntarily send a feedback email, the email template may include your device model, operating system version, and other information to help us diagnose issues. This information is only submitted when you actively choose to send it.
• App Usage Statistics: We locally record the first installation date and launch count on your device, solely to determine whether to show a rating prompt. This data is stored in your device's local storage and is never uploaded.
• Anonymous Device Telemetry: To improve product compatibility, the App sends anonymous device compatibility information to our servers, including capture card device identifiers (VID/PID), chip series, operating system version, and platform type. This data does not contain any personally identifiable information and cannot be used to identify you.
• Crash Reports: If you choose to share diagnostic data through your operating system, the platform provider (Apple/Google/Microsoft) may provide us with anonymous crash logs.

2. Device Permissions

The App requires the following device permissions to function properly:

• Camera Permission (All Platforms): Used to access the video input signal from your USB capture card.
• Microphone Permission (All Platforms): Used to access the audio input signal from your USB capture card.
• Photo Library/Storage Permission (iPad/Android): Used to save recorded videos and screenshots to your system photo library.
• USB Device Permission (Android): Used to access USB capture card hardware.
• File System Access (macOS/Windows): Used to save recorded files to a directory of your choice.

These permissions are used solely for the App's core features. You can revoke any permission at any time in your system settings.

3. Data Storage

• Recorded Files: Videos, screenshots, and GIF files are saved to your device's local file system or photo library and are never uploaded to any server.
• User Preferences: Settings such as resolution, frame rate, and encoding format are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded.
• Highlight Detection Data: Highlight detection analysis data is stored only in the App's runtime memory and is cleared when you exit the App.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information in any commercial manner. Exceptions include:

• When you voluntarily use the system sharing feature to share recorded content with third parties.
• When required by applicable laws and regulations.

5. Third-Party Services

The App does not contain any advertisements or third-party tracking SDKs. Third-party technology components used by the App include:

• Google ML Kit (Android only): Used for offline text recognition (OCR). All processing is performed locally on your device, and no data is sent to Google.
• Self-hosted Telemetry Service: As described in Section 1, this only collects anonymous device compatibility information. The server is operated and managed by us.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Data Security

Since all user content is processed and stored locally on your device, data security primarily depends on your device's own security measures (such as device passcode and biometric authentication). We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date.

8. Your Rights

Depending on applicable laws, you may have the following data rights:

• Right to Know and Access: Understand what information we collect and how it is used.
• Right to Deletion: You can uninstall the App at any time to delete all local data. Telemetry data is anonymous and cannot be linked to any individual.
